General
Position Summary:
Network/Firewall support of a global web hosting and ecommerce environment at
a Fortune 500 company. This person will be responsible for troubleshooting, administering,
and supporting all aspects of the hosting environment. General network
troubleshooting skills are a key requirement.
This is a good opportunity to work with a wide variety of technologies
including: Internet, DMZs, Checkpoint Firewalls, Content Synchronization
Software, Cisco network switches, load balancers, and highly available networks.
Candidate will work at the client site for an open ended period of time and
may be able to transition to full-time employment with the client.
Experience
Required:
Candidate should possess some or all of the following skills:
- Checkpoint Firewall Experience (absolute requirement)
- Cisco Network Switch Administration
- Load Balancer Administration
- General Network Troubleshooting Experience
- Domain Name Server Administration Experience
- Network Management Experience (SNMP)
- Desire
for learning new technologies
